The tutorial teaches you how a match works. With your player account you collect cards, open packs and build your own decks. Quests and the Reward Path track your progress; ranked matches take you onto the seasonal leaderboard.

Can I start without an account?
Yes. The guided tutorial is available without signing up. To save progress, build a collection and play account matches, you sign in.
Which classes are there?
You can play Ashcaller, Tideweaver, Thornwarden, Nightblade and Soulbreaker. Each class has its own cards and its own hero power.
How do I win a match?
Both heroes start with 30 Health. Bring the enemy hero to 0 Health before yours falls. Mana, minions, spells and your hero power decide what you can do each turn.
Can I practice alone?
Yes. There is a tutorial and training against a computer opponent. For duels there are ranked and unranked matches as well.
